What is Geaux Away Mosquito Spray? Geaux Away Mosquito Spray is an all natural herbal pest repellent in a certified organic soybean oil base. The owners of Go Green Organic Lawn Care, Elemi and Stephanie Brown, created it. The herbs repel pests and soybean oil was chosen for its skin healing qualities.

Why did you create a repellent? Our son has been a mosquito magnet since the day he came home from the hospital. When a mosquito bites him, he's left with huge red welts. He would scratch the bites in his sleep and, in the morning his skin would be a mess. After dealing with this for a year, we needed to be able to put something on him that could heal and protect from future bites at the same time. We started reading, learning and, as a result, our product does these things. We live on a heavily treed lot so we have a lot of mosquitoes. Our children love to be outside and now they can comfortably do so.

What is in Geaux Away Mosquito Spray? Certified organic Citronella, Clove Bud, Lemongrass, and Rosemary essential oils, Cold pressed Neem Oil, in a certified organic soybean oil base. It was important that Neem oil be a key ingredient because it is highly effective.

Why is it called Geaux Away Mosquito Spray? When we were in the testing phase we were constantly putting all ingredients in a large sprayer for our entire property, indoors and out. Although the final product ended up as an 8 oz. herbal oil, our daughter had already started calling it 'Go Away Mosquito Spray', and the name stuck. We chose the word Geaux as a way of letting fellow Louisianians know that it does work here.

What makes your product better than some of the other organic repellents out there? There are some wonderful things out there and as long as they are natural, we love them. We wanted people in our own state to know they have options. People who live in Louisiana understand that if a repellent works here, it will work anywhere. What makes our repellent so effective is a generous concentration of Neem.

What else can you do with Geaux Away Mosquito Spray?Stephanie actually polished Ethan's bedroom furniture with it! If one pest gets in the house it will find Ethan. We do not recommend that our product or any repellent be put on young babies. What we have done with our children still in the baby stage is to apply repellent near them, but not on them.
